Boatmans - the perfect cottage for bird watching in Suffolk!

BOATMANS IS A STUNNING HOLIDAY COTTAGE IN SUFFOLK BY THE RIVER DEBEN!

This charming, detached, self-catering holiday cottage is traditional in design with quirky modern touches and is surrounded by an enchanting, mature garden.  This is the perfect spot to enjoy the varied wildlife of Suffolk, especially if you like bird watching.

Feathered visitors to the garden include Green Woodpeckers, Owls, Hawks and Herons as well as Swans gliding down the river (who enjoy any left over bread you might have).  There is also a bird feeder in the front garden and nuts in the log shed to fill it with and this almost guarantees a visit from a Greater Spotted Woodpecker.

If you head further to the bottom of the garden and listen for a high pitch 'shrill' sound, look just above the water as Kingfishers can often be seen...but you will have to be quick!
Boatmans is the perfect place for a bird watching holiday in Suffolk but make sure you also leave time to see the Muntjac and larger deer which frequent the area and if you are really lucky you might even spot an Otter.
