Vesta Cottage

On a quiet side street in the pretty town of Orford sits beautiful Vesta Cottage, a successful fusion of charming period cottage and contemporary design. Only a short stroll from both the market square - where there is a fresh bakery and choice of renowned pubs and restaurants - and the Quay with its breath taking views of the River Ore and Orford Ness.Inside on the ground floor you will find an open plan living space with a contemporary kitchen with a high island table for dining, and a large sitting area complimented by a wood-burning stove. There's a ground floor double bedroom with an in-room shower and en-suite cloakroom. On the first floor there's a double bedroom and bathroom.

This property enjoys a magical setting, on the outer reaches of Orford in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Situated down a private track, this cottage has long-ranging views across the open countryside of Sudbourne Park from the spacious garden and towards Orford Castle from the lane infront of the property. Although this cottage has modest origins, as an Edwardian workers cottage, it now affords a special venue for those guests looking to enjoy the Suffolk countryside. Orford's market square is a short drive or pleasant walk away, where you will find Trinity restaurant at The Crown and Castle - Ruth Watson's renowned eatery, the Kings Head - a charming pub with a glowing reputation, an artisan bakery/cafe and a lively village store and cafe.Upon entering this single storey property you will find yourself in a small entrance porch where there is a door straight ahead to the cloakroom, or turning left into the living area which wraps around the open fire's chimney. Passing through the living area you will find the kitchen/diner at the rear of the property which has a door that opens into the large garden outside. The hallway from the living area leads you to the bathroom at the front of the property, the master bedroom at the rear of the property, and the twin room at the end of the hall facing the front of the property.

Brownies is the quintessential Orford holiday cottage, situated in a tucked-away position just yards from the delightful Orford Quay, Pinney's famous Orford shop and restaurant, and the characterful Jolly Sailor public house. Orford’s market square is a short walk away along Quay Street, where you will find The Crown and Castle restaurant - Ruth Watson's esteemed eatery, the Kings Head - a charming pub with a glowing reputation, an artisan bakery and a lively village store and cafe.The property oozes character and has stunning panoramic views, towards the River Ore and Orford Ness beyond from the first floor windows. Upon entering you will find yourself looking at the bread oven on the brick chimney stack, between the charming kitchen/diner and the cosy living room. From the living room there is a cloakroom and an angled wooden staircase that leads to the first floor where you will find the large open plan bedroom and the en-suite bathroom.

Three Chantry Barns, Orford is a high quality bespoke conversion of a Victorian dairy barn that once formed part of Chantry Farm. It is in a quiet corner of the town, a stone's throw from Orford's famous castle and on a delightful path to the River Ore and Orford Quay. Orford town centre is a minutes’ walk away, where you will find Ruth Watson's renowned eatery The Crown and Castle restaurant, the Kings Head, a charming pub that serves good food, an artisan bakery and a lively village store and cafe.The property has been lovingly converted with the original beams and a solid oak staircase contributing to the property's character, while meeting all of the modern needs we have today. Upon entering you will find yourself in a small entrance hall where you can hang your coat and store your footwear. On the ground floor there's a spacious yet cosy kitchen/dining/living room, a bunk bed room and a shower room. An angled staircase leads to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms (king and twin) and a shower room. Outside there's a communal patio garden and off road parking.
Rose Cottage has a magical location, with stunning views in every direction - take your pick from the open sea dotted with ships, the serene Suffolk countryside or the historic Martello Tower just along the coast. This large well equipped house stands in its own generous grounds right next to the sea and offers a lovely location for family get-togethers or groups of friends to enjoy a memorable holiday.
On the ground floor the large kitchen/diner has direct sea views from one end and an AGA kitchen at the other. Also overlooking the sea is the cosy sitting room which an open fire and further views of the Martello Tower. Other ground floor rooms include a bunk-bed room, the family bathroom, a twin bedroom, and a utility room. Upstairs there’s a master bedroom suite allows you to drift off to sleep listening to the sound of the sea, with an en-suite bathroom. The second double bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom and faces quiet country scenery outside. Other first floor rooms include the shower room and another twin bedroom.
